Buzzin' in Big Basin

Had a great time racing yesterday at the PCTR Skyline to the Sea 50k. I'll work on the race report later tonight or tomorrow. The highlights were bees/yellowjackets, awesome trails, fast runners, perfect weather, great volunteers and friendly runners. Final numbers for the race for me:

Time: 5:23:18
Place: 42 (out of 210)
# of stings: 3 (head, back and leg)

Can't wait to do it again.

I forgot to tell you at the finish yesterday that I was running down the trail, thinking about your "Feeling Good, Louis!" and laughing to myself several times... Nice job yesterday! Can't wait for the next one!

Great job! Funny, I must have been running next to you for some of the race - I finished in 5:26, 44th place. There was someone ahead of me taking pictures and I was thinking "hmmm...running blogger".

Can't wait to read your report! I can't believe those crazy wasps and yellow jackets. I told Victoria and Rick that I wished I was there with you guys. I'm jealous!
